After many years of working with small to medium size companies in the Power and Oil & Gas industry, I saw a clear opportunity to help these companies in a very niche market to accelerate growth using marketing strategies that worked so well for me.

Working hands-on with companies in the $1-$20 million revenue range allowed me to see how valuable those principles can be, when tailored to a smaller company’s needs. In working with these companies, I started to notice a pattern.

There comes a point in the lifecycle of a healthy business when the owner realizes the business could benefit from some professional marketing help. Haphazardly trying social media, pay per click, or tradeshows will only get you so far and could very well end up hurting the business in the long run. At some point there needs to be some organization and a real professional to handle the efforts and lead the charge.

Here lies the problem. The business owner realizes the need, but can’t afford the team consisting of a Marketing Director, graphic designer, strategist, PPC expert, writer and Web developer. Hiring just one person doesn’t get you what you need and nobody can ever possess all of those skills at once. The cost associated with hiring an internal Marketing Director in addition to a marketing budget is often underestimated and the position is often eliminated after a short period of time.

When building or strengthening your marketing strategies, it helps to have someone with experience. Founder Lisa Delliacono’s background spans a decade across the oil & gas and power industries. She has built her network with connections from more than 180 trade shows and a LinkedIn network that surpasses 6,000 industry professionals. Her reach extends from servicemen and servicewomen in the field up to company presidents and CEOs.
